How do I get free samples?

I'll share my experience of getting free samples. Many manufacturers offer free samples, usually from 2 to 5 Pieces. I have received from Texas Instruments, Maxim Integrated and Freescale (ex Motorola) - they thank you, they help me in my development and experimentation.
